As we welcome the warmth of summer, we take a moment to reflect on the challenges of the past year—especially the impact of the hurricane that touched our community. In those difficult times, we saw extraordinary resilience and compassion, as neighbors supported one another and worked together to rebuild. With my background in claims, I know this business extremely well. I have seen what an unexpected loss looks like, and know how to handle when customers need us most. I love helping customers reach a new level of understanding—seeing them have that "A-ha!" moment, is one of my greatest day-to-day joys.

I grew up in Duluth, GA not too far from Atlanta. I moved my wife and young children here to Louisville in 2007. I’ve grown to love this community and am happy to call it home. I enjoy finding ways to get involved—I’m a member of the election board, I work with the development authority and the local community college board. I’m also a member of the Lions Club, and responsible for buildings and maintenance at my church. I enjoy working in the community and supporting non-profit organizations. I’ve been married to my wife Lisa for over 25 years, and I have two children.

In my free time, I love working with my hands on DIY projects at home and in the yard. I love building things and seeing plans come to fruition, and I take that love into the work I do at my agency.
